Getting the fit right

The Snugjooy™ cushion is worn like a small backpack. The plush shoulder straps go over both shoulders and cross at the back. Adjust them so the cushion sits flat against the upper back, behind the head and the nape — snug enough not to slide, loose enough to slip two fingers under the strap.

  • One size, designed for roughly 4–24 months — start once your baby holds their head steadily on their own.
  • Weight: about 180 g — most babies stop noticing it within minutes.
  • Position: the cushion sits across the upper back, behind the head and the nape.

What the Snugjooy is — and isn't

It is a soft comfort cushion for babies learning to sit, crawl and walk. It is not protective safety equipment, and it never replaces an attentive adult within arm's reach. Always supervise your baby while they wear it.

When to use it

  • During supervised floor play, cruising and first steps — wherever your baby plays, always with an adult present.
  • Remove it for sleep, car rides, and any time your baby is unsupervised.

Care instructions

  • Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Air dry away from direct sun — do not tumble dry or iron.
  • Check the straps and seams regularly; stop using it if the filling is exposed.
  • Store it dry, away from heaters.
